About Us
My name is Cheryl Deckard. I started Byte Me in February 1998 after working several years for other service companies, gaining a wide range of experience in troubleshooting and repairing many different types of computers. After seeing a need in the community, I made a decision to dedicate myself to providing my customers with honest, affordable, and quality conscious service. I had become disgusted by the greed that I had seen in other service companies and set standards for myself to avoid falling into the same trap.
In May 2000, my husband, William, left his position as network administrator for a Missouri school district and joined me in providing quality service to our customers. He also has several years of experience with many different computer and network systems and is certified. We do a great percentage of the work personally and honestly care about what we do. Our employees share our commitment to providing high quality service to our customer.
I believe that my customers have a right to an honest evaluation of their needs and desires without being pressured into purchasing high-priced replacement equipment. My services range from simple repairs and upgrades to custom-built computers and servers. If replacement parts are all that are needed, I will be glad to help you with purchasing them.
You can be assured that we will listen to you and your desires and answer your questions in a manner you can understand. We are proud of the reputation we have worked hard to achieve over the past 10 years. Our best advertising has always been referrals from satisfied customers to their friends and family and we intend to continue to provide the best service possible to our customers.
